Hi Friends,

This is a big weekend here. My grandson turned 5 and had his birthday party today (Twinkle Twinkle Litte Star). We also went to Art Prize in Grand Rapids (pix to come)., our town's Pumpkinfest, the Farmer's market, swimming with aunt and uncle and laser show Friday night. I nixed two more outings since I thought that would be too much.

I spread out my company cleaning throughout the week so there wasn't a mad dash the day before.

(How much can you declutter before the end of the year?)

1. Bring out your blankets or put them away depending on your season.
2. Scent your home with seasonal spices simmering on the stove.
3. Clear off one flat surface, then put only one thing back on it like a vase of flowers or a pinecone.
4. Cook extra for dinner to freeze for an easy meal when you need it.
5. Create a cozy corner to read, knit, meditate, etc.
6. Do a star chart for yourself to help implement a new habit.
7. Look at an area of your home that isn't working, then brainstorm ideas. Perhaps check out Pinterest.
