We were melting last weekend at a car show in our town. But, my grandson thought the vehicles were so cool. We missed out on live music Tuesday when he tripped over his feet in the driveway and gave himself a goose egg. But, we was better for the community waterslide, story time outside, park with his friends, and another long scooter ride and park with new friends. (Pix by Brea Dargis)

I've been working with some new software for work so that's been using a lot of brain power. 

I had to re-set this weekend after getting sucked into too much news and sleep disruption after the assassination attempt. I was disheartened by the dehumanizing way some people talked about it. I can't see our elders behaving that way with JFK or Reagan. So I went to bed on time, said no news or social media, exercised, straightened things up and did my morning and evening routines. I am feeling better already.

1. Have you stopped doing a hobby regularly because too much free time is spent online?
2. Do something creative for 30 minutes.
3. Declutter your coupons and flyers.
