Hi Friends,

It's been a rare warm week in February here in Michigan. So we had an almost daily walk. It got cold again this week and we chose an indoor activity - the Critter Barn.

Lent starts Wednesday and I have a $2.99 Simplifying for Lent Guide. For 40 days I have ideas, questions and inspiration to live a simpler, more intentional and more reflective life.

1. Establish a budget for Valentine's Day celebrations.
2. Practice a winter sport or outdoor activity (or summer in the other hemisphere).
3. Treat yourself to a cozy night in with a good book or movie.
4. Take a deep breathing break.
5. Plan a tech-free date night with your significant other.
6. Check out how long appliances last and start saving for the next one most likely to go.
7. Put a pillow under your tablet when you read to make it easier on your neck.
