Happy New Year! May you have a year of gentleness, simplicity and love.

Very low-key week here as we recuperate. Movies, reading, and dreaming.

If anyone is trying to do some annual planning, I have my simple annual plan which is a simplified version of annual planning, and helps you do less, focus more and has monthly and weekly planning as well.

Have self-compassion and patience as you pursue your goals.
What did you want to have done by the end of the year? Can you give yourself some slack and extend the deadline to January 31st?
Pick one area to do a not-spend year on. What have you noticed you habitually buy more of that you don't need? Books, magazines, clothes, craft supplies, home decorating?
When you get an eBook from your library, divide the 100 by the days you have. So if I have a book for 14 days, I read 7% of the book a day.
If you have a home task you always procrastinate on, time how long it takes. Then you can tell yourself, "Really, I am procrastinating on something that only takes 7 minutes?"
