Hi Friends,

I hope your holidays were connecting and filled with wonder and joy. We got sick so we didn't go anywhere for Christmas. Small holiday with just my husband, daughter, grandson and I with the sniffles.

Before we got sick and the snow melted we did have a lovely winter walk. (Pix below)

1. Take at least one day to unplug from technology.
2. Plan 3-5 joyful or restful activities you are looking forward to: perhaps a nature hike, brunch with friends, a dinner date, an hour of reading time. Then plan the rest of your week around those.
3. You are going to want to do a bunch of chores, but they can fill up your whole week if you let them. Limit the amount of hours you plan to do chores. 
4. Visualize a goal for the upcoming week, month, or year and do one thing to move your goal forward before the 1st of the year. Maybe you work on a creative project. Or create an exercise schedule.
5. Plan something you would enjoy on the night of Jan 1, so you can ease back into the work week if you had time off. Otherwise you may spend the evening of Jan 1 worrying about the week ahead.
6. Have longer morning renewing routines, perhaps longer prayer or meditation time, longer yoga practice or adding some reflecting on the past year.
7. Decide how to get more sleep. Perhaps more wind down time. or you can sleep in or decide to go to bed early twice this week.
