Hi Friends,

My daughter and I went to a holiday groove dressed in Christmas dresses. Brea and I wore our dresses all day and got many smiles and happy comments. Later the whole family went to my in-laws church where they had nativity scenes from all over the world. 

It warmed up here in Michigan so we got a few wetland walks this week. I also took my grandson out to walk the neighborhood and look at lights. He has a hard time seeing them as we drive. 

Today the adult choir got to sing with the kids for Go Tell it on the Mountain for the Christmas celebration at church.

1. How can you pare down this holiday? Bake less cookies? Forgo the Christmas letter? Decide not to have a tree?
2. Do some Christmas chores together - bake with your sister's, shop with your best friend, fill out cards with the whole family, have a wrapping party.
3. Do your holiday tasks out of love and service, not obligation. Check your heart and get back to the why.
4. How about we stop judging others for how they celebrate and not let other’s judgments affect our own holiday?
5. How would you celebrate differently if you concentrated on loving instead of trying to gain love and approval?
6. How do you long to feel this December? Choose your activities based on that.
7. Have a Silent Night.
