Welcome to this week's tips
Today my grandson went to nursery for the first time. He really enjoyed the kids and new toys to play with. He also tried our city's splashpad. Hesitant at first, he enjoyed the outskirts of the water splashing by the end. And of course seeing other kids.
In the home - I made 2 calls I didn't want to make, restarted using my water app to drink enough water and have been working through a pile of paper. We also got our summer flowers and did a deep vacuuming of the whole house.
The swan and their cygnets are enjoying the water. But, one swan was making sure none of the ducks bothered them, puffing out.
Here is the Declutter calendar for June if you missed it last week. (And if you fell off doing the calendar, just begin again with today):
If you don't have time to do all 7 tips, pick the one or two that are calling to you and put them in your calendar or to do list.
Decide certain thoughts are not helpful and try on different thoughts. For instance, stop saying, "I am overwhelmed" and instead think, "I am capable." (I'd love to hear your new phrases at the Facebook group https://www.facebook.com/groups/mysimplerlife)
Notice what your body needs this week.
Buy any presents for the next couple of months.
Spend an extra 30 minutes this week going through paper.
I help the overwhelmed create saner, simpler lives.
