Welcome to this week's tips
It's been hot here so less outside time. But we did get some outside blanket time and a few walks earlier in the week. (Pix by Brea Dargis)
My husband and I celebrated our 29th wedding anniversary by going to the greenhouse to get perennials for the side flower garden (the squirrels ate all the bulbs we planted so only 3 flowers grew) and going out to brunch.
I also got my haircut for the first time since Feb 2020.
We've been doing some baby proofing as well since he has gotten quite mobile. Any suggestions on what's been helpful for you?
Weekly Simplicity Tips
If you don't have time to do all 7 tips, pick the one or two that are calling to you. Put them on your calendar or to do list.
Plan memories to create this season.
Finish a project.
Enjoy eating seasonal fruit and veggies. See if you can up how many fruits and vegetables you eat in a day.
Walk barefoot at least once this week. (Or have a bundled up walk if you are in the southern hemisphere.)
Read in the backyard or beach or somewhere different than usual. The Facebook group has some book ideas.
Discover somewhere new in your local town or city. We recently discovered a little trail to a wetland full of birds. (pix coming soon)
Save electricity with solar charges for phones and devices.
I help the overwhelmed create saner, simpler lives.
I deliver…
Untamed possibility. Breathe easier simplicity. Hope.
