Hi Everyone,
Let's be honest, creating new habits can feel overwhelming. Along with all the baggage of trying and failing in the past. We can start thinking of our ourselves as someone that can't do routine. We are too flaky and we hate routine even if we know our lives would be better with routine.
I am a creative, free spirit who thought routine was boooring. But, when life added more responsibility and I wanted to still take care of myself and my home I knew I needed a good rhythm for my day. I exercise almost every day, have a daily smoothie and daily spiritual time. I have a schedule for my home and even for reaching out to people I love.
Structure made me more flexible and able to have time for the things that nurture me. Knowing what is next is a weight lifted off my decision making. I've already made the decision so I don't have to re-decide what to do over and over.
