Welcome to this week's tips
Hi Everyone,

My daughter got a new puppy that you can see below. We've finally gotten some sun - I still can't take walks because of my calf strain - but she sent me some pictures of her walks.

I am so impressed with how much is being decluttered in the Declutter class. Next class is perfect for you if you can't seem to stick with regular habits:

Weekly Simplicity Tips

If you don't have time to do all 7 tips, pick the one or two that are calling to you. Put them on your calendar or to do list.

  1. List all your outside activities. Any you would like to weed out?
  2. Never say yes to anything right away - always give yourself time to think.
  3. Play with cutting out some social media/screen time to do something productive or creative like writing, sewing, decluttering or exercising.
  4. Go to bed 5 minutes earlier and wake up 5 minutes earlier this week.
  5. Who could use an encouraging note from you?
  6. Have you been too busy lately to present your best character to the world?
  7. Think about your last "failure" or "mistake" compassionately and see what you can learn from it.

52 Tiny Changes to help you simplify and have a more fulfilling life

I help the overwhelmed create saner, simpler lives.

I deliver…

Untamed possibility. Breathe easier simplicity. Hope.
On the wings of understanding and encouragement.
Step by step breaking down from “no way! “ to “why not?”

I am not a natural habits person. While my engineering brain husband has one right way to do everything, I am more “never do the same thing twice” kind of person. So much of the rigid, just do it advice regarding habits did not work for me. I needed a more flexible way to create my day with my habits and rhythms.

You may be similar. Try to create a habit. Fail. Try to create a habit. Fail. So frustrating!

Trying again the way you have been, may not be the answer. It could be time to try a new way and get support.

“I am finding the “Habits and Rhythms” course being run by Beth Dargis of “A simpler, saner life” so helpful.”
