Welcome to this week's tips
Hi Everyone,

Have you downloaded the February Declutter Calendar yet?

Lent is coming up Feb 14th. Lent invites us to slow down and to release things that are holding us back from a spiritual, conscious life. So I created a Simplifying for Lent Guide for $1.99.

My daughter was over this week and went to the wetlands. I had to view from the car because I still can't walk well because of my calf strain. But, she got some pretty pictures. She found two muskrats huddled under the bridge.

Yesterday I took part of the day after play practice for a retreat.
  • Prayer and meditation
  • A nap
  • A little massage with my back buddy
  • Read
  • Played with some essential oil
  • A seated dance
  • SoundsTrue Mark Nepo course
  • Yoga and breathing exercises
  • Hand scrub
  • Bible reading
  • Stood outside in the snow
  • Journaling
  • Candlelight shower
May you find some moments of quiet this week.

Weekly Simplicity Tips

If you don't have time to do all 7 tips, pick the one or two that are calling to you. Put them on your calendar or to do list.

  1. Hang your keys on a key rack or place them in a bowl by the door.
  2. Add twice as much time for projects as you think you will need.
  3. Plan a catch up day to tackle all those little to do's you haven't gotten around to doing.
  4. Check your insurance policies. See if you can get a better deal and if you have enough coverage.
  5. Remove candles from your home that produce toxins, stick with soy and beeswax candles.
  6. "Commonplaces never become tiresome. It is we who become tired when we cease to be curious and appreciative." - Norman Rockwell
  7. Nurture your houseplants. (I am sorry my succulents.)
