Also I am thinking about blog posts and courses for the new year. What is one thing I could write about or teach that could make your day better? Go ahead and email me at beth@mysimplerlife.com. Find other articles here.
I did a lot of cleaning up 2018 this weekend: Christmas decorations, paperwork, setting up 2019 file folders. I plan on finishing up next Get it Done Day, Saturday, January 12th. You can join here for $9. The last group had such a good time working with other people to get their stuff done that many are doing it again this time.
And the next Declutter Group is open for registration and starts Jan 21 if you are looking to get the year started with decluttering.
We also had a gorgeous day Saturday so we took 3 different hikes/walks (see below). The beaver is gnawing a new tree. I've also been enjoying the 30 Day yoga with Adriene journey called Dedicate.

Weekly Simplicity Tips
If you don't have time to do all 7 tips, pick the one or two that are calling to you. Put them on your calendar or to do list.
1. Write thank you notes
2. Go through bits of paper and post it notes to see which can be thrown out and which you want to bring into the new year. Put in a notebook or calendar. (Great thing to do on Get it Done Day.)
3. Organize your winter accessories like scarves and hats (or summer accessories in the other hemisphere) - Use cubes, bins, shoe holders, baskets or shelves
4. Input new addresses from your cards so you have them for next year
5. Find homes for new presents, decluttering if you don't have space for them
6. Catch up on laundry, decluttering clothes that don't fit in the closet or dressers if everything is washed

We go deeper than, “just do it!” I know that there is an emotional component to decluttering. I’ve seen that when someone gets stuck it’s rarely about the stuff. We also delve into how you see yourself – that makes a big difference in decluttering success. I can help you trust yourself again.
