If decluttering hasn't happened for you in the past as you tried to go it alone, you may want to join my Declutter Group that starts Jan. 18th.

We spent New Year's Day in prepping for the New Year mode. Annual planning, papers, tax stuff, cleaning up after the holidays, catching up on email, etc.

So yesterday I took my first retreat day of the year. I prayed, read a novel, colored and drew, sang, journaled, watched a move and took a nature walk (see pix below.)

Weekly Simplicity Tips
  1. Input new addresses from your cards so you have them for next year.
  2. Find homes for new presents (decluttering if you don't have space for them).
  3. Catch up on laundry.
  4. Straighten up your makeup/grooming area in the bathroom to make the morning routine easier.
  5. Clear off and update bulletin boards and whiteboards.
  6. Note any really high expectations of the new year. Where do you need to be more realistic?
  7. Let go of any guilt from things not accomplished last year. You have a fresh start.
What I wrote for you
I don't want you to declutter. What do I mean by that?
