Welcome to this week's tips
Hi Everyone,

Thanks so much everyone that supported Chelsea on her mission. She says, "Thank you so much for all your support! I am awestruck by the words and amount of love poured out from both friend and stranger. The fact that even someone from Iceland came to support me has me humbled. God bless!"

And her Mom says, "Thank you so much for supporting our daughter. This has increased our faith to watch the people we don't know come out of no where to give to this cause. It warms my heart to see her postings how the Lord is growing her heart and setting her free from issues. That is worth millions. :) Africa, here she comes!"

So we helped fund her goal of getting to Africa, but if you still feel called to donate, she will need to get back home somehow :) You can donate at her GoFundMe Page: https://www.gofundme.com/9o4onw

Then email me at beth@mysimplerlife.com and I'll put you on the Procrastination eCourse if you'd like.

I spent Thursday, Friday and Saturday in the Detroit area as relatives from Washington State and New Mexico came to town. Lots of eating and talking. I also got to see my Aunt Mary and Jean staying with my sister and played with my niece and nephew. The pix below is our playdoh art my niece and I made. And my nephew as a Ghostbuster. The tool his Dad made lights up.
Weekly Simplicity Tips
  1. A former Declutter Group member wanted to keep her new car clean. She has a bin in the car. She says, "Now, when there is something to discard, it can go in the bin. Each time I arrive at home the bin comes in with me. I empty it out, wipe if needed, & stack by the door to take back out with me."
  2. Clean up a flat surface that always ends up cluttered.
  3. Think about staying off the internet and phone one day this week or month.
  4. Borrow things for entertaining instead of buying a bunch of things for one party.
  5. Check your spending on kids or grandkids to see if you are going overboard.
  6. What does it feel like to spend money on an experience (travel, a class, a concert, a play, etc.) rather than on stuff?
  7. Toss anything you don't need from a recent conference or seminar.

Declutter Calendar 2016 - your input

Hi all, I am getting ready to create the 2016 Declutter Calendar. Are there any spots that need decluttering that I don't get to on my calendar? (I have a pretty small house so may miss rooms/areas that other people have.) Then I can add them this year.
