Welcome to this week's tips
I have to watch my tendency to make my life smaller. Especially if I start to get scared about something. If I think I will really enjoy something, but it has some anxious uncertainty I want to do it anyway. So Thursday I went to a comedy event with a local Meetup - people I didn't know and got lost getting there. Still fun! Friday I said yes to a friend's Facebook invite to go to a dance party at a beach cottage by Lake Michigan. Managed not to get lost, but had to deal with lots of steps. I felt so alive! We even danced on the deck as we watched the sunset over the beach. And yesterday we began to pair dancing with the singing for the musical I am in. Hard as I was learning, a fearful drive to a new place in Grand Rapids, but lots of laughs. Every time it was worth it.

Here's a pix I took last weekend at Lake Michigan. It's thawing out this weekend.

Weekly Simplicity Tips

  1. Speak up if something is bothering you. You can be heard even if you speak gently.
  2. Figure out a way to have less meetings. Quick phone chat? Virtual? Short daily briefing.
  3. Plan a spring cleaning day to get to those baseboards and stairs.
  4. Give yourself a foot massage. (I love to use Heeltasic I get at Bed, Bath and Beyond afterwards)
  5. Remember everything changes. What are you holding on to?
  6. Plan your meals weekly or monthly.
  7. Set up automatic payments to 401K or IRA’s.
    What I wrote for you
Don't take action. I really mean it.
