Welcome to this week's tips
This week was getting back into routine - going to choir, getting back to Zumba and my Friday walking date with a friend. Do you feel back into your weekly rhythm?
I am also excited by getting back into my Monday evening classes. The first one of the year and my most popular - my Declutter Group that starts Jan. 19th. I teach you how to have decluttering become part of your life in an
easier, sustainable way. Plus it's more fun in a group.
(Or if you are interested in multiple classes like finance, projects, habits and time you can get the Bundle.)
This week in the Declutter Calendar we've been talking paper. Below is my video on action files.
Weekly Simplicity Tips
Instead of only asking what you want to do this year, ask, "Who do I want to be?"
Do you need to back up anything?
What's something
that sounds fun or exciting but gives you butterflies. Any small step you can take towards doing it?
Do some paperwork you need to take action on while watching TV tonight.
Where do you need to steer yourself instead of allowing yourself distractions?
Ask on
Facebook about a household issue you have and see how many creative ideas you get.
Write in your journal a list of things/ideas/self-image you are open to letting go of this year.

What I wrote for you
For those of you who are new to the tips, here are some of my systems.
Have fun decluttering
Starts Monday
Ask yourself: do you want to continue to be enslaved to your clutter?
When it comes to decluttering your house, do you know where do begin and how to get going?
Or does decluttering go to the bottom of your to do list
(which you can’t find beneath the pile on your desk)?
Or worse, do you start to declutter, taking everything out of the cabinet only to get overwhelmed and ending up with a bigger mess than before?
We all want a serene, clutter-free space to enjoy, but how do you do it?
