Welcome to this week's tips
Hi Everyone,

I'm back from my grieving hiatus. Thanks for all the kind notes! This is the poem I wrote for Mom and read at her funeral:

As cancer sapped her energy,
Mom still wanted to make sure her cards got out.
"Did you send them?"
Caring.

Mom, the card lady, had boxes of cards
to encourage and celebrate every event, every sorrow.
Even in sickness, she didn't want to forget anyone.
Caring.

She kept notes on the happenings of friends
so she could check in with them.
A calendar was full of birthdays and anniversaries.
Caring.

People tell us how gentle and patient she was
as she looked after some
who could no longer look after themselves.
Caring.

And that is how we can remember Mom.
By caring for others.

Brea, her friends and I went to Art Prize in Grand Rapids and below are Brea's pictures. The third picture was made of sugar.

The Declutter Group has been doing fantastic getting lots of things out of the house.

Create the Decluttering Habit book is now in paperback.

And you can still get it in an ebook: http://bit.ly/declutterhabit .

  1. Notice this week how much you judge yourself and judge others.
  2. Send that card you have been meaning to send.
  3. What happens if every time you say to yourself, "I'm tired" you instead say, "I am energetic?"
  4. Go through things in your basement that aren't in boxes.
  5. Do your Changing of the Seasons.
  6. Are you juggling too many balls? Which one can you let go for a season?
  7. Give yourself space in your calendar and your shelves.
