Welcome to this week's tips
Hi Everyone,

I just finished a workbook on Making Time for Fun and Self-Care. You can learn more or get this for $1.99 here.

My voice teacher lives 7 minutes from Lake Michigan so I started a new weekly routine of walking along the Lake after lessons.

We are so excited here that it is Michigan strawberry season. Brea and I got the first ones at the Farmer's Market this week. So red and sweet. By the time California strawberries get here they don't have much smell or taste. Next up cherries and peaches!

We also took a walk to where there is an eagle's nest. We used binoculars to see close up and Brea managed to get a photo of the eagles. (Pix by Brea below)

Weekly Simplicity Tips
  1. Throw out or refresh sachets that have lost their scent.
  2. If your email got out of control, do 1-5 email backlog days in the evening while watching TV or waiting for kids.
  3. Decide to have fruit for dessert instead of junk food at least one day this week. Strawberries anyone?
  4. What gives you delight? Can you experience it this month?
  5. Finish a book that has been on your to read shelf.
  6. What project can you complete this week?
  7. Ask yourself why you are acting so busy.

What I wrote for you

Summer time is fun time. At least it was when we were kids. Are you missing fun in your life?

There never seems to be enough time and all the magazines ask you do things like exercise an hour a day, fresh squeeze your juice, and meditate 20 minutes morning and night.

We all want to be the best we can be, so what are some simpler, less time intrusive ways we can take care of ourselves – body, mind and soul? Plus have more fun!

Find out in my Making Time for Fun and Self-Care workbook.
