Welcome to this week's tips
Hi Everyone,

Its Tulip Time in the town next store. So Brea and I went out the day before to capture Tulips at Windmill Island, Centennial Park and down Tulip Lane. (Pix by my daughter Brea below).

Jeff and I went in for the day to visit my 94-yer-old Grandma this weekend. We also saw my Mom, sister and her kids and my aunt & uncle surprised us all by stopping into see Grandma while we were there. We took her out to eat and she was so happy to be eating shrimp instead of the turkey burger they were going to feed her at assisted living. We aren't guaranteed time with anyone, so enjoy the time you have and be present.

A reminder about my new book: Create the Decluttering Habit: http://bit.ly/declutterhabit
It is on the top of my list to work on the paperback this week.

This week we have been organizing our financial paperwork for the Money Systems Class. I am also catching up with the two weeks of papers I let go of when I was doing the play. I just opened registration for June's Change Your Relationship to Time class.http://www.mysimplerlife.com/time-class

Weekly Simplicity Tips
  1. Play with only spending what you need this week.
  2. Use that changing of the seasons energy to declutter what you don’t want.
  3. Challenge yourself to eat without a box or a can for a day, week or month.
  4. Simplify your schedule and see what you are doing only because you want to keep up with the Jones’.
  5. What problem are you struggling with? Use your creativity to come up with multiple solutions you can try out.
  6. If it’s not working, do something else. Don’t just try harder.
  7. Plan to do something that makes your heart happy.

Many of us our overwhelmed and we are always saying, “I don’t have enough time.”

Ask yourself: do you want to live your life in a constant state of hurry and worry?

When it comes to time, have you tried system after system but nothing works?

Or do you keep all your to dos in your head hoping you don’t forget anything?

Or worse, have a time system that takes so much time to manage you wonder if it’s even worth it?
