Welcome to this week's tips
Hi Everyone,
I had an unusually high social week for me, with a church potluck at the beach, various exercise classes, an outdoor concert, a succulents class and walks with my daughter. Succulents (top pix) apparently need little water so perfect for me
as I don't always water as I should. My husband does most of the watering around here.
My sister introduced me to this dress shop that customizes dresses. The dress they made for her was so cute and fit perfectly! One perfect fitting dress is worth 10 off the shelf dresses.
Do not assume - either that you know something you don't or that someone can mind read you. Ask and tell clearly instead. Way simpler!
The newest state is 62% of Americans don't have $1000 in savings. Not sure about other countries - but everyone start saving. Can you put an extra $20 in savings
this week?
With all the bad news lately, how positive have your thoughts been? Don't rush straight into news and other people's stuff in the morning. Center, pray, meditate, journal first.
Track your screen time for a couple days. You may be surprised.
If you never seem to achieve your goals, through them all out for the moment. Work on one goal.
Too many times we have good intentions, but if we don’t take action it doesn’t get done. I believe procrastination is one of the biggest barriers to living a life that we want.
Have you had great ideas, but never followed-through?
Do household chores and work tasks not get done because you
don’t like to do them?
Do you want to start exercising and eating right, but just haven’t gotten to it yet?
Do you spend so much time on other people’s projects, you don’t have time for your own?
Do time wasters like TV, chatting and shopping eat up time for your goals?
Does the thought of all your to do’s drain your energy?
Procrastination sucks our energy, causes us stress, and lowers our self-esteem. We feel guilty and
make excuses. I know, I am a recovering procrastinator. Don’t let procrastination destroy your dream of creating a life worth living.
Imagine waking up refreshed because you are feeling good about yourself. You are being productive and letting go of excuses. You do what you say you will. You plan your day, yet are flexible enough to rebound when plans don’t go as you want. Your life is more like the life you have been dreaming
about.
