Welcome to this week's tips
Hi Everyone,
My daughter, Brea and I took the train into Chicago for a 5-day vacation. We went on a chocolate tour, went to Shedd Aquarium, Lincoln Park Zoo and Conservatory along with nature trails, the Art Institute, the Field Museum and Buckingham Fountain. It was an inspiring and connecting trip. (Pix by Brea Dargis)
Weekly Simplicity Tips
  1. Unpack anything that comes into your home within a day.
  2. Try something new for this season - I'll be doing quiet time and writing outside in the morning.
  3. Take time to clean up clutter and put things away before bed for better sleep.
  4. Trouble focusing? Pick up the area around you for a minute or two.
  5. If you are consistently late, start setting a leave time 10 minutes before you think you need to. Then set an alarm so you don't get engrossed and miss your leaving time.
  6. Use your moral compass. Going against your integrity leaks energy.
  7. Create a garden station on your porch, in the garage or shed so you can keep all your gardening tools and pots together.
