Welcome to this week's tips
Hi Everyone,
This is tech week for the musical, The Mikado, I am in this weekend. So rehearsals every evening until the first show Thursday. Dress rehearsal today (You can see my costume below. It's actually green but looks blue in the picture). So I simplified meals, work and anything else I could.

The Declutter Group starts Monday. This is the last one of the year.
Weekly Simplicity Tips
  1. Watch this video on self-compassion.
  2. Have separate tote bags for each of your activities so you don't have to keep remembering what you need. (ie library book bag, knitting group, writer's group, your volunteer activity, kid's sports.)
  3. When you notice yourself ruminating over scenarios in your head about something, ask yourself what emotion you may be avoiding.
  4. Find out what zone you are in so you know when to start garden planting.
  5. Display kid's artwork on a ribbon with clothespins or try one of these ideas
  6. Research a care for the environment group near you. Often at this time of year they need volunteers to re-plant, pull invasive species and clean up from winter.
  7. Don't hold your stuff as you declutter as it's easier to stay attached to the item. Don't touch the item until you know what to do with it. Then move it quickly.

Would you like to be well on your way to a decluttered home in the next two months?

Well, who wouldn’t?

Keep in mind, if you play with the declutter plan, you could…

  • have room to move, live, think
  • get rid of more clutter than you thought possible
  • open your home to more people
  • begin to have clarity of mind and focus
  • effectively learn to make decisions about your possessions
  • go from despair to hope
  • learn to maintain a clutter free home
  • have room for you in your home

Finally, room for you and your family in your house. Having your home nurture you, instead of being an energy drainer.

How would you like to make more and more space?

Now remember, having less clutter does not make you a better person. It is not to make you feel more acceptable to others. The person that declutters most does not win. The reason to declutter is to make your home or office work for you and your family.

You could keep working with your home on your own. But, how long have you been trying that?

It’s up to you!

“You have taught me to believe in myself and to take things slowly, one step at a time, keep sight of my goals, both short term and long term.

Your coaching style was both nurturing and motivating, you seemed to intuitively know some days what I needed most. Your caring and understanding was so appreciated and it came from the heart.”
