Welcome to this week's issue of Weekly Simplicity Tips.

Thanks for the well wishes on my lasik surgery. It went very smoothly and I can see better than 20/20 at a distance. Closer is still a bit fuzzier.

My husband's cousin's husband has been battling stage 4 breast cancer for two years. They have four smart, beautiful girls. We are doing a fundraiser to help them out with the expenses. If every reader donates just $1 we will go over what they need.

Weekly Tips

  1. Studies show we hold our breath often when checking email. This week take a deep breath before checking email.
  2. Delete unused apps and programs from your computer. You can sort by date last used to make it easier.
  3. Notice where you feel the pressure to overwork, overparent or overload.
  4. Take work breaks at least every 90 minutes. Most people can't sustain attention longer than that.
  5. No matter if you screwed up this week, you can make a new start today.
  6. Check the stuff in your yard. Do you need all those doodads?
  7. Wash off muddy boots before you store them.

This course will help you create easy-to-maintain systems for your finances.

The classes will meet Monday nights at 8pm ET. You will get transcripts of the classes on days you miss it. You can also check in at the forum to ask questions and to have some accountability. Getting finances in order can seem overwhelming so having a group to walk with you step by step is a big boost.

Your Simpler Life

---------------------------

I really miss our weekly chats, it seems weird without having you to talk to every Monday and let you know what is going on, but I can still feel your presence in my life as I reach towards my goals. Hiring you as my coach was the absolute best New Year's present I've ever given to myself. Thanks so much for all your wonderful support, your great listening skills and your warmth and support to help me go ahead with my dreams. I feel like I'm a much better mother and wife because I'm allowing myself to be me, take care of me, I am my most important investment, thank you for showing me that." - Holly C.
