Welcome to this week's issue of Weekly Simplicity Tips.

My daughter and I finally were able to walk around the wetlands. The snow is melting. But, no pictures. Our camera is in the shop. Thankfully it broke right before the warranty was up.

I watched a touching movie this weekend called About Time. It's about the moments of our lives and being present for them. (It's rated R, in case that makes a difference for you.)

Warmly, Beth

Weekly Tips

  1. Have you been falling into the comparison trap, lately? Be aware this week of when you compare yourself to others.
  2. Make that appointment. You know the one.
  3. Technology can make your life easier, if you aren't afraid of it. Have a friend show you something, take a class or play around with some technology.
  4. If you can't make a decision, pause and do a household task and see if the mind processed a decision by the end.
  5. What is one thing that is part of the life you want?
  6. Can you plan to bring that into your life, even in a small way?
  7. Manage your health care plan(s) with Cake Health.

Declutter Group

I asked the last class what they wanted you to know about the Declutter Group and here are some of the comments:

- I got more decluttering done during this class than any time in the past 10 years!

- I am still slowly decluttering, although I haven't done any decluttering yet today. But I've never stayed with it this well before.

- The 5 minute commitment works. It's reassuring to see others are struggling with it too as there's some shame/embarrassment when you've always got clutter. I think it's a good supportive environment too that encourages you to continue.

- I thought the manual was excellent.

I've found people that have spent years trying to declutter only to quit, make wonderful progress in this group setting.
