Welcome to this week's issue of Weekly Simplicity Tips.

I enjoyed a low key birthday this week with Italian food, new books and retreat time. Today my daughter Brea and I went on walk - we both are feeling better.

Leaves against sky

The sky was a gorgeous blue and we loved the red leaves against the sky.

Milkweed

The milkweed was coming out of the pods and I love letting them fly in the breeze.

Wetlands in fall

Aren't the wetlands beautiful in fall?

Cattails

The cattails are turning to seed as well.

Duck

Duck on a log

And here is the cat pumpkin she did - no stencils

Weekly Tips

  1. Have places for books, papers, mail, and stationary supplies rather than scattered all over.
  2. Write down any to dos that have been wandering in your head.
  3. Think of rooms you are organizing in terms of themes like the kitchen as a B & B, the garage as a mini Home Depot, the home office as a creativity hub.
  4. Notice your inner distractions, instead of only complaining about outer distractions.
  5. What do you desire from the week ahead?
  6. Concentrate on serving during your work.
  7. Put Halloween decorations away over the weekend.

"I wanted to take this opportunity to express my sincere gratitude for helping me to meet my professional goals within in my target date and within my budget. The encouragement you gave me at times when I doubted my plan was exactly what I needed to regain my focus. Your gentle promptings, reminders and tips for preparing and managing my tasks were awesome. You provided me with resources and links that enhanced my efforts. Mere thank you is not enough.  I look forward to working with you on the next phase of my project."
