Welcome to this week's issue of Weekly Simplicity Tips.

We got a new to us car this week. We saved up, paid cash for a used car to replace my husband's car that is falling apart. We bought a new car in 2004 and vowed never to do that again. They lose so much value as soon as you drive it off the lot. And we like not having to pay car loans.

It's been a gorgeous spring this week in Michigan. Lots of motorcycle rides, walks and being outside.

I am also working on a simpler self care class for the end of June.

  1. What is one change you can make today to make your life simpler?
  2. Ask for what you need and want in relationships instead of having someone mind read.
  3. Give appreciation to at least one person. Thanks can be powerful.
  4. Do a little more each day for work, so it will be easier to take off for vacation.
  5. Ask people about their moments of wonder and be open to your own.
  6. Take a walk slowly. Notice the little things.
