Welcome to this week's issue of Weekly Simplicity Tips. This week I updated the Saner,Simpler Life course. I am doing things much differently than when I first created the course.

Here is a guest post I did on Nature's Healing Grace.

Warmly, Beth

Weekly Tips

  1. Don't make your lack of planning constitute an emergency for someone else.
  2. If saying yes has created an overextended you, don't beat yourself up. Notice and next time remember that feeling so you pause before saying yes.
  3. Be kind in your online communications. They are real people on the other side of the computer.
  4. "Anything that crowds the life out of you is junk. Anything that build, edifies, enriches your spirit, that makes us truly happy, regardless of how worthless it may be in cash terms- isn't junk. Most active things are not junk, most inactive things are."- Don Asslet, author of Clutter's Last Stand
  5. Don't like to sit for relaxation or meditation? Try a dance meditation.
  6. What is one thing that has simplified your life in the past that you have quit doing? ie a morning routine or meal planning. Can you start again?
  7. Re-read your email before sending to make sure it is clear.

Are you overwhelmed and find you do way too much?

Do you find yourself juggling too many projects, activities and responsibilities?

Does your home, finances and life seem out of control?

You probably:

  1. work more than you want to
  2. feel stressed out
  3. don't seem to do what matters most
  4. and things like health, friends and self-care get moved to the back burner

Where do you even start?

It's hard to simplfify your life, if you don't even know where to start. I focus on one aspect of your life to simplify each day of the course. I give you a step-by-step plan so you don't get stuck trying to begin.

Warmly,

Beth Dargis
