Welcome

Welcome to this week's issue of Weekly Simplicity Tips. The declutter group has really been releasing a lot of clutter! They are inspiring me.

I had a radio interview for a channel in Vancouver, Saturday. I'll get you the audio if/when they put it up.

Yesterday my daughter and I had a connecting day - seeing an illusionist, going out to eat and browsing Barnes and Noble.

A reader Debbie is having a problem decluttering due to a fear of bugs in her southern state. Have anyone here overcome this? If so you can email me or post on the blog.

Warmly, Beth

Change Your Relationship to Time Class - Starts March 5

Attention: Hurried, overwhelmed individuals with too much too do and not enough time to do it

Ask yourself: do you want to live your life in a constant state of hurry and worry?

When it comes to time, have you tried system after system but nothing works?

Or do you keep all your to dos in your head hoping you don't forget anything?

Or worse, have a time system that takes so much time to manage you wonder if it's even worth it?

We all want to feel in control of our time, but how do you do it?

My goal is to help you change your relationship with time.

Get it Done Day

Do you have those things that just never seem to get done? Things you procrastinate on like organizing a closet, making a difficult phone call or a business report? Get It Done Day is for tackling that to do list.

When: Get It Done Day starts on Friday March 2nd at 9am EST till 2:00pm EST. For U.S. current time zones, go to Time.gov You don't need to be here the full 5 hours.

At the top of each hour we will say what we hope to do. At a quarter after we zoom to get it done. Then at the top of the next hour we say what we have accomplished and get some pats on the back.

Weekly Tips

  1. Take time to put the pictures up on the wall that you were planning to do someday.
  2. If your music has been converted to mp3s either get rid of the CDs or store them.
  3. When was the last time you updated your money tracking program?
  4. Have your kids or a local teenager type in some of your notes so you can throw out the paper.
  5. Think of household tasks as cherishing your home and family, instead of as drudgery.
  6. Change your cleaners to natural products.
  7. Open your windows once a day instead of using air fresheners.

About

I help the overwhelmed create saner, simpler lives. I deliver...

Untamed possibility. Breathe easier simplicity. Hope.
On the wings of understanding and encouragement.
Step by step breaking down from “no way! “ to “why not?”

I’ve helped people declutter & organize, lose weight, learn to manage time, gain self-confidence, learn to focus, practice self care and simplify their lives so they can do what’s most important to them and their family. I love giving hope to people that come to me thinking it can’t be done. I was not born organized, I’ve had to learn the skills. Things like overcoming perfectionism and procrastination. And knowing what is for dinner before 5pm.
